Here is a link to a map of Guatemala. We arrive in Guatemala City. The cities we will visit are Panajachel, Antigua and the Tikal National Park. Panajachel is not listed on the map link but it is on the north shore of Lake Atitlan.

Guatemala Here We Come!

Tomorrow we are heading out on United and heading straight to Central America's Guatemala. Well via LAX, but then on to Gutatemala. We fly economy plus which has a little more leg room, it's no business class but it will do. First thing on my list is to see the sun rise, especially since we arrive at 4:44AM. Ya, I thought that was early too. I have heard there is this thing called coffee in Guatemala, so I hope to find some ASAP. Second plan is to make it out of Guatemala City without incident. Our driver will pick us and two of our friends up at the Guatemala City Airport drive us to Antigua where we will pick up yet another friend then make the three hour trek to Panajachel which is on Lake Atitlan.

We will be meeting more friends in Panajachel to celebrate my good friend Suzanne's marriage to her novio Carlos. I'm super excited and looking forward to our trip!
